REFUND, CANCELLATION & TICKET DELIVERY POLICY
OffTheGrid LA | offthegrid-la.com
Effective date: September 15, 2026
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy covers tickets sold by OffTheGrid LA for events in Los Angeles, California. The business owner is Levi James Bearman. Our business address is 9023 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90035, United States. This is not the event venue unless the relevant listing says otherwise. For order inquiries, email contact@offthegrid-la.com or use the seller contact details supplied with your purchase, if available.
Where a separate seller processes a booking in its own name, that seller will be identified before payment and its policy will be linked. We will explain our role and help direct the request appropriately. Using a third-party service does not remove duties that we retain as organizer or seller. This policy forms part of the purchase terms when disclosed before checkout and does not limit nonwaivable consumer rights.
2. Review your purchase before paying
Check the event date, Los Angeles local time, venue, ticket quantity, minimum age, accepted identification, and any last-entry deadline before completing an order. Check whether the ticket covers general admission or specific additional benefits. A reference to fully loaded bars does not mean that drinks are included. Any included drinks or extras must be expressly identified in the ticket description and remain subject to lawful service requirements.
Ticket prices are charged in USD. Mandatory fees are included in advertised prices, except government charges that may lawfully be disclosed separately. The checkout will show the final payable total and the effect of any optional extras you select. Your receipt should identify the seller, event, order reference, ticket quantity, and amount paid. Keep that receipt for support purposes.
3. How tickets are delivered
The delivery method and expected timing for a ticket are the arrangements disclosed for that purchase. Follow the delivery instructions supplied with the order. Where delivery is intentionally delayed until a particular date, that timing must be disclosed before purchase. Physical shipping applies only where expressly included in the purchase arrangements.
An email signup, payment attempt, or temporary bank authorization does not by itself establish a confirmed booking. If your payment appears to have completed but you have no confirmation, contact support before placing another order. We will review the payment and order records to distinguish a completed charge from an authorization hold and help determine whether a ticket has been issued.
4. Missing tickets and incorrect details
If a ticket is missing, check your spam folder, the email address entered at checkout, and any account or download page identified in the purchase flow. Then contact contact@offthegrid-la.com with the event name, order reference if available, purchase date, and purchaser email. Do not send your full card number, card security code, banking password, or a one-time authentication code.
We may ask for proportionate verification before resending a ticket or changing the delivery address. If the event is close, clearly identify the event date so support can identify its urgency. A website message or this policy does not promise round-the-clock support; check any event-day assistance information supplied with your booking.
If a delivery failure attributable to us or a service we use prevents provision of the purchased admission, we will provide a valid replacement in time where possible or the applicable refund. We will not automatically deny a claim solely because an electronic system marked a message as sent. Claims involving an incorrect customer email or inaccessible mailbox will be assessed on the facts and available remedies.
5. Customer-requested cancellations and changes
For a voluntary cancellation, exchange, upgrade, or date change, the options expressly offered before purchase apply. Contact the seller identified on your receipt about your request. This policy does not promise a change-of-mind refund where none was offered, and it does not create an undisclosed cancellation fee. If the terms of a purchase are unclear, we will review the request on its facts and under applicable law.
Different rules may apply where an event is canceled, postponed, materially changed, or not provided as promised. A general change-of-mind restriction does not override those rights. Illness, travel delay, a missed flight, changed personal plans, or inability to meet a disclosed admission requirement will be assessed under the terms disclosed for the purchase and applicable law. Customers may contact us about exceptional circumstances, but a request alone is not confirmation of approval.
6. If we cancel an event
If the event is canceled and will not take place, we will refund the amount paid to us for the affected admission, including mandatory ticket charges collected as part of that purchase and associated taxes where applicable. We will not require acceptance of store credit or admission to a different event instead of that refund. Optional alternatives may be offered, but acceptance must be the customer's choice.
We will complete cancellation refunds within 30 calendar days of cancellation, or sooner where required by law. We will initiate processing early enough to meet applicable deadlines and communicate any issue that requires action by the purchaser. A funding delay or an unresolved arrangement with a venue is not a reason to disregard an applicable refund obligation.
If the purchase included separately priced extras that cannot be provided because of cancellation, we will explain their refund treatment. Purchases made directly from an independent third party may require a request to that seller, but we will not misidentify a party or refer customers away from obligations that are ours.
7. Postponed, rescheduled, or replacement events
If an event is postponed, moved to a different date or time, or replaced with another event, we will notify purchasers using the available order contact information and publish the relevant update. The notice will explain whether tickets remain valid and how to request a refund instead. An indefinitely postponed event will not leave customers without a way to raise a refund request.
We will provide a refund of the affected admission purchase, including its mandatory charges and associated taxes where applicable, within 30 calendar days after a refund request for a postponed, rescheduled, or replacement event, or sooner where required. Keeping a ticket for the revised event is optional. We will not impose an arbitrary deadline that removes statutory refund rights. Once a refund is completed, the refunded ticket is invalid for admission.
8. Other material event changes
A change to the venue, principal advertised attraction, admission benefits, or accessibility arrangements can affect what a customer reasonably expected to purchase. We will explain confirmed material changes and assess available refunds or alternatives under applicable law and the circumstances. A minor operational adjustment is not necessarily the same as cancellation, but a clause allowing changes will not be used to justify a substantially different service without appropriate remedies.
Emergency conditions, weather, official restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect an event. These circumstances do not automatically eliminate a refund entitlement. If an event begins but is substantially interrupted, we will provide information about the interruption and the applicable treatment of affected tickets rather than declaring every ticket nonrefundable without review.
9. Transfers, resale, and duplicate tickets
Check the conditions supplied with the ticket before attempting a transfer, name correction, or resale. Use any authorized process provided by the seller. A transfer is not confirmed merely because a request has been submitted or a ticket image has been forwarded. We will not impose an undisclosed transfer fee or use a transfer condition to remove a right that cannot legally be restricted.
Protect your admission code. Copies may be rejected if already used, but an apparent duplicate can be investigated against the actual order records. Notify us if you suspect theft or misuse. We do not guarantee the authenticity of tickets from an unauthorized seller, and an independent resale dispute may need to be raised with that seller. This does not exclude responsibility for an error or misrepresentation attributable to us.
10. Refused entry, missed events, and billing errors
Refund treatment for a missed event, late arrival, or failure to meet a clearly disclosed lawful entry condition is governed by the cancellation terms disclosed for the purchase and applicable law. If admission is refused because of an error on our side, overselling, or failure to provide the purchased service, contact support so we can investigate and provide the appropriate remedy. Conduct-related removals will be reviewed using the event rules and facts; this policy does not authorize unlawful or discriminatory decisions.
Report an apparent duplicate completed charge or incorrect amount promptly. We will investigate and correct an established billing error. Multiple pending authorizations are not always multiple completed payments. We will explain the distinction where possible and provide available transaction information to help your bank trace an unresolved issue.
11. Requesting and receiving a refund
Write to contact@offthegrid-la.com with your order reference, event name and date, purchaser email, tickets affected, and a brief explanation. A representative acting for the purchaser may need to establish authorization. We will communicate the decision and basis, or explain what additional information is reasonably required. Applicable legal deadlines remain in effect.
Approved refunds ordinarily return through the original payment method in the original transaction currency. If that route fails, we will arrange an appropriate verified alternative with the person entitled to the refund. We will not request a fee, a new ticket purchase, gift cards, or a security code to release a refund. Where available, we can provide a refund reference so the payment provider can trace it. Processing estimates do not excuse missing mandatory refund deadlines.
12. Overseas visitors and related expenses
Overseas customers may buy admission to our LA events. Your bank may apply currency conversion and its own transaction charges. A USD refund may produce a different home-currency amount because exchange rates change or an issuer applies its own terms. We do not control those independent rates or charges, and this explanation does not reduce any reimbursement required of us by law.
Our event tickets are for local admission, not travel packages. Unless expressly included in the sale, travel, hotel, visa, transport, and other independently arranged expenses are separate. We do not promise automatic repayment of those expenses when an event changes; any legal responsibility for a particular loss remains subject to applicable law. Check your independent providers' cancellation terms before making nonrefundable travel arrangements.
13. Complaints and policy versions
If you disagree with a decision, reply to the support conversation and explain what you believe was missed. We encourage direct resolution but do not require you to give up payment-dispute rights, complaints to authorities, or legal remedies. Avoid obtaining duplicate recovery for the same charge and tell us if another payment route has already refunded it.
The policy disclosed for your purchase remains applicable to that order, subject to mandatory law. Later revisions do not retroactively remove existing rights.
